Virginia
This November, Democrats will have the opportunity to flip the Virginia governorship as former Representative Abigail Spanberger faces off against Lieutenant Governor Winsome Sears. If Democrats can do so while maintaining their legislative majorities, they will win a trifecta. Looking ahead to 2026, Democrats will also compete in two competitive House races.
